Description:
70 gallon Bullnose (bullet) tank. It has a bullet shape that causes a magnifying effect on one side. 2 x 20w led flood lights with camera clips for mounts. All lighting and mounts were purchased on Amazon for less than $40. Fluval fx5 with biohome and bio max media and poly fill for polishing. Ehimn jager 150w heater. No co2. Seachem dosing. Flurish, advanced, trace and excel.I premix water in a 27 gallon plastic container with a heater and use a pond pump for seamless water changes.
Advice:
This setup took months of planning, research and patience. I set everything up in one weekend with no fish loss or dip in water quality. And for less money than any smaller tank I have had. My advice is plan for any scenario, every scenario and research everything at least twice. The simplest solution is usually the best.
Fish Kept:
Yoyo Loach, Twig Catfish, Bushy Nose Pleco L-144, Otocinclus Catfish, Peppered Cory Cat
Corals/Plants:
A variety of plants. Still seeing what works with lighting and dosing setup
Tank Size:
70 gallons
