About Yourself: I watch my tank more than I watch TV!!
Fish Kept: 3 Green-Spotted Puffers 2 Black Ornamental goldfish 3 common(bait) goldfish 1 Albino Lizard fish 1 "zebra" bottom feeder 1 black Molly 1 "zebra" angel fish 1 crab
Corals/Plants: Twenty bamboo trees arranged in groups of fours(quads).
Tank Size: 40 gallons
Advice: Dechlorinate any water fish will be in ....even temporarily. CYCLE CYCLE CYCLE first!!! It will prevent that milky white haze from appearing. When changing substrate , gather old substrate in a mesh basket and leave in tank for a week so all the beneficial bacteria can completely transfer--you wanna keep out the haze don't you?! Salt sprinkled on goldfish cures white mold on their backs if happens to you. Air pumps aren't necessary if you have a waterfall....splashing provides all the ogygen necessary.

Quote: Excellence is a Habit!
About Yourself: I'm a 22 year old college student with fish on the brain.
Fish Kept: 20-25 assorted africans 2 plecos 1 catfish
Corals/Plants: Plastic plants, not ready for the commitment of live plants.
Tank Size: 90 gallons
Advice: Gertting started is not easy! But once you do just keep on truckin. It takes alot of time and money but if you are into it, It's worth It! Study up on your species of fish and keep them as healthly as you can, there is nothing more pathetic then sick fish. My number one problem getting started was keeping my lights on too long and constantly battling algae blooms. Do not keep your lights on more then 8 hours a day. Buy a timer!
