Description:
All natural tank. Temperature set at 75deg F. Activated Carbon waterfall filter. Single airpump with air-stone to provide additional circulation. Two 18"overhead flourescent bulbs. Theme: freshwater tank with marine bed appearance (play sand). No soil substrate needed.
Advice:
Dechlorinate any water fish will be in ....even temporarily. CYCLE CYCLE CYCLE first!!! It will prevent that milky white haze from appearing. When changing substrate , gather old substrate in a mesh basket and leave in tank for a week so all the beneficial bacteria can completely transfer--you wanna keep out the haze don't you?! Salt sprinkled on goldfish cures white mold on their backs if happens to you. Air pumps aren't necessary if you have a waterfall....splashing provides all the ogygen necessary.
