Advice:
I have sooo much advice for you but I can't type it ALL!!! I have extensive knowledge about freshwater fish tanks and good beginning information. All this info i learned from my years of fish keeping. You could say i live and breath fish :) My advice for new Hobbists is GO FOR IT!!! fish keeping is becoming easyer and more popular. Plus it is a great conversation piece in homes, offices, schools, and pretty much everywhere else.

I Have Kept:
3 tiger barbs,
12 angel fish (young and adult),
6 gold barbs,
3 cherry barbs,
1 irridesant shark,
1 freshwater moray eel (brackish water),
1 scat (brackish water),
1 spotted puffer fish ( brackish water),
1 figure eight puffer fish (brackish water),
7 african cichlids ( from Lake Malawi ),
2 dalmatian mollies,
5 neon tetra,
12 silver tip tetra,
6 ghost shrimp,
1 blue lobster,
2 blue gouramis,
2 gold gouramis,
4 guppies,
I have a garden pond with:
32 gold fish,
7 koi ( each measuring 7 inches or longer!!!),
and a couple of frogs wich come back to spawn every year!
Corals/Plants:
i have had no luck with live plants. But i am currently learning ;)
