COMMENTS

Once they started, it was hard to stop them! I had the mom and dad in a 29g tank with plenty of driftwood and hiding places. Usually breeders suggest a long cave of about 6in (like pvc pipe), but mine refused to use those kind and instead used shallow holes in the driftwood or the insides of a fake sea shell. The water perims weren't anything special. Neutral pH, hard water, nitrAtes 20 or below. The eggs were laid and hatched within a few days. The babies ate pretty much the same as the adults. I added a lot of vegis like cucumber, along with their steady diet of algae wafers and shrimp pellets. Hope that helped! They're cute lil' critters. fish avatar
