Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt as well as several other Seachem products like Prime.
I have all the filters hooked up to battery backup in case of power outages. Pumps should run for 36 hours before my backups run out of power.
Advice:
Have more filtration than you need as long as it is not blowing your fish around the tank.
