Description:

This is a lowlight tank heavily filtered with peat. I had to use a long exposure, after a water change and without the peat to get the pic. It doesn't really represent what it looks like. It's actually very dark and the water is stained very dark with tannins. This better replicates the natural environment for the fish I keep.
Running for 3+ years
Advice:
Choose fish from the same region of the world and that have similar requirements.
Fish Kept:
Pair Apistogramma Hongsloi, 15 Cardinal tetra, 7 Firehead tetra, 3 Marbled Hatchetfish, 1 Beckfords Pencilfish, 1 Ottocinclus.
Corals/Plants:
Amazon Sword, Cryptocoryne wendtii, Java Fern
Tank Size:
33 gallons
