Advice: It is extremely hard to over filter a tank. Dont buy a fish and put it in a small tank saying "I will buy a bigger tank when the fish needs it" , buy as big a tank possible and try as a minimum what experts recommend. Follow the advice given to you by people in forums and hobbiests, and seldomly the person at the petshop. DONT BUY PACUS, ARAPAIMA, RED TAILED CATFISH, WALKING CATFISH, IRIDECENT SHARKS, SHOVELNOSE CATFISH OR ANY OTHER FISH THAT GROW TO BE HUGE (UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ENOURMOUS TANK) Good Luck!
Fish Kept: Gouramies (Belontiidae) Callichthyid armored catfishes (Callichthyidae) Characins (Characidae) Cichlids (Cichlidae) Barbs (Cyprinidae) Armored catfishes (Loricariidae) Poeciliids (Poeciliidae) Loaches (Cobitidae)
