Description: 36x18x18in 50 gallons AGA tank. Odyssea 96W x 2 PC light 6700K. Temperature 78F, Nitrates 10-20ppm, Phosphates 1-2ppm, Potassium 20-30ppm, GH 12, KH 4, PH 6.8, Chelated Fe 0.25-0.5. Injecting 20-30ppm CO2 using 3 2L soda bottles with 2 cups sugar 3/4 tspn yeast. Fluval 304 canister filter. 32W JEBO UV sterilizer. 200W visi-therm stealth heater. 3" of Flourite red substrate.
Advice: Track nitrates, phosphates and chelated iron and dose what is necessary for plants at least once a week. Check PH every day if dosing CO2. Use dry chemicals to save money, KNO3 (nitrates and potassium), K2SO4 (potassium), Fleet enema (phosphates), CSM+B (traces), epsom salts (magnesium). Inject CO2 and have 4 watts per gallon of light. Use SAE, farlowella, flag fish, ottos, molly to clean algae while starting up. Use UV sterilizer to avoid green water and have crystal clean water. Fill aquarium with water until water line is not visible to avoid calcium deposits on glass. Use plain polyfill pillow stuffing for filter floss, you don't need anything else in canister filter.
