Description: My tank is an all black 29 gallon that I bought from Petco. I use a 40 gallon top fin power filter with active carbon. I have 3 african cichlids and a south american jack dempsey cichlid. I currently have a both live and plastic plants in my tank. I feed them a mixture of HBH African Cichlid Attack, freeze dried plankton and JumboKrill. This is my first fish tank and I've only had it for about 7 months now. I am very happy how it turned out and I hope to get a larger reef tank when I can afford it.
Advice: Just do it! Fish are one of the greatest pets in the world and chicks dig em'
Fish Kept: 3 african cichlids, a jack dempsey and my tiny pleco
Corals/Plants: 3 fake plastic plants, 2 bamboo swirls, couple amazon swords and some others
Tank Size: 29 gallons
Quote: I have not failed, I have found 10,000 ways that won't work.
About Yourself: I'm a freshman in college and I couldn't get a dog so I decided to buy a tank when one of my buddies who has a tank gave me the idea.
