Description: I use an Aquaclear filter and 45 watt flouescent lighting. I test ph and ammonia weekly, change water wekly, and add Stress coat and Nutrifin max to the water after every change.
Advice: Get as much information from books and articles as you can. Learn learn learn! Don't buy a plant or fish if you know absolutely nothing about it. And don't be afraid to ask advice from people that work with or own fish. This worked for me!
Fish Kept: A peaceful community tank with a 1 clown loach, 1 female betta, 1 gold marble angel, 2 sunset gouramis, and 7 neon tetras.
Corals/Plants: Plants include cabomba, amazon, radican and brazillian swordplants and banana plants.
Tank Size: 29 gallons
Quote: Fish are fun!
About Yourself: I got into fish about 10 years ago and have been hooked ever since! I only got into the real plants 2 years ago. I currently own 4 fresh tanks that range from 29 to 5 gallons(blame the small apartment) and I find it to be a very rewarding and relaxing hobby.
