Description: This is my first planted tank that I really put some research into. It's a low tech tank running on tek 4x54. Planning to put on metal halides later on when I switch the other mh bulbs. Has pressurize CO2. The fish that are in this tank are wild alenquer with cardinal tetras, some ottos, a pleco, some rummynose, crystal red shrimp, some amano shrimp, and some angelfish.
Advice: A lot of research. Its better to be patient then blowing away money and not keeping the fish alive.
Fish Kept: african cichlids, angelfish, discus, plecos,
Corals/Plants: amazon sword, java fern, tiger lotus, some crypts, I dont know the name of the rest.
Tank Size: 180 gallons

About Yourself: I'm a college student. Going into junior year. I'm 22 years old. I like keeping fish since I was little. Most of the fish I kept died. The longest fish I kept was some oscars. They live till about 7 or 8 years before they died. Started out with a betta. I keep fish as a hobby outside of college. Have 6 more years until I finish dental school.

COMMENTS
