Country: Australia
Description: This is my growout tank ready for its first trim. This is a collection of plants not an aquascape but il leave you to make your own evaluation. 4x2x2,dupla co2 system, eheim 2217. Iron/sand substrate. 300w halide lighting.
Advice: Learn to master growing plants before trying to master aquascaping. I failed initially trying to be Amano with no experience at growing plants. Im much happier now learning how to grow beautiful plants, when im ready i will try my hand at aquascaping.
Fish Kept: ottocinclus, sae, clown loach and glass shrimp.
Corals/Plants: From left, Micranthemum Umbrosum, Echornia diversifolia, Eusteralis stellata, Alternanthera reneickii, Rotala rotundifolia, Rotala macrandra, Ammania gracilis. Foreground plants include glossostigma, blyxa japonica, crypt tropica and giant sagitaria. Many more but thats the basis of what you see..
Tank Size: 100 gallons
Quote: Disco Dynamite
About Yourself: My very first plant was given to me by a friend. I became very quickly attached to planted tanks with varied success. After giving up for many years to persue other interests ive only begun to keep tanks again over the last year. I would like to regain my confidence and hopefully start entering some contests next year.
