Description: I have a 29 gallon freshwater tank with a Whisper 40 filter and a Jager 100 watt heater. Also we have an 10 gallon with a Top Finn 20 filter and a 50 watt heater
Advice: Do your homework and read as much as you can about the new hobby your about to start. Go to small local fish retailers for any advice... try to stay away from big chain retailers ( petsmart, petco ) the people working there dont know much about what they are talking about. In a smaller family owned fish store the employees are very smart about what they sell, the younger employees are usually going to school for marine biology.
Fish Kept: A 29 gallon I just started. It has a couple of Zebra, long finned blue and gold Dannios in it now. Also I have a 10 gallon with a red tailed Albino Shark, a baby Angelfish, a Pepperd Cory Cat, 3 Plattys, 3 Gold Barbs, and 3 Rummynoose Tetras... I'm going to transfer everything over to my 29 gallon when its ready!
Corals/Plants: I have a wide variety of live plants and a large piece of driftwood with plant growth on it.( it looks like a tunnel) I also have a smaller piece of drift wood I tied a live plant to that will eventually take root on the wood.
Tank Size: 29 gallons
