Description: 40 Gal. Mixed Cichlids with some dither fish.
Advice: I'm pretty new, but always clean or change your filter cartridge. You can tell when it's really dirty or clogged when the flow from your filter starts to reduce.
Fish Kept: Cichlids
Corals/Plants: Plastic for now...plan on redoing my tank soon.
Tank Size: 40 gallons

I really wanted to redo my tank soon with some white sand, rock piles and some vallisneria and no other plants. I'm going to try that out and learn my lesson on my own. Thanks for the heads up though fish avatar

My advice when it comes to the cichlids is... stick to plastic plants.. no point in doing real plants which get dug up or torn to shreds pretty quickly.. fish avatar
