Photo Caption: This is a paludarium I made for my betta fish in a 20-gallon high tank. The front part is about 2.5 gallons, and the back is the land section, where I've planted a variety of different carnivorous plants. :) I actually rigged up the gargoyle to be the outflow for my small canister filter.
freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - This is my Lord of the Rings aquarium, 90 gallons, home to guppies, tetras, rosy barbs, a tiger pleco, kuhli loaches, and freshwater clams. Yes, that is the One Ring on the bottom, highlighted with a red light.

amazing paludarium! In all my ideas I never thought to do a retaining wall type setup clearly separating the two systems. did you lay and grout that wall yourself? what's the tank dimensions? fish avatar
