Description:
Juwel RIO 180 tank. I upgraded the pump to 1000lph and added extra layer of the fine filter pad to keep the water really crystal clear. My cheap camera didn't really capture that though. The lighting is 2 X triton tubes.
Advice:
Read. Be patient. Follow the advice you get - but don't listen to everyone on internet forums. Observe your fish - in time you will know in an instant if something is wrong. Use lots of biological filteration, be religious in your water changes. and... ENJOY!
Fish Kept:
this tank... I wanted a really light stock, a parrot cichlid, a few assorted malawis donated by a friend. The parrot cichlid keeps everyone else in check... in the pciture he is guarding his cave (at the bottom of the rocks) - anyone goes near there... they get it!
Corals/Plants:
No plants! Just sand and tufa rock
