I have been in the hobby for around 40 years. I started with angle fish but now all I do are african cichlids. I am a truck driver. I really enjoy breeding and raising quality africans. I have over 3000 gallons in my fish room and to keep up with the water changes every week you really have to enjoy doing it.

Weekly water changes of 25% and a high quality healthy diet will bring the best color out of you fish.
Description:
I have 190 gallon tank that is 72x24x26 that has a 3" reveal threw the wall into the room. It is on a 30" high stand and it has a canapy that goes from the top of the stand to the ceiling. It is filtered by 2 aquaclear 110 and is lit by two 36" strip. I have a group of 8 moba frontosa with the largest male in the group at around 12".

Advice:
Make sure when u plan to get fish that you have read up on them and don't assume that all community fish go well together. Also its good to think of how active the fish are and how they swim if you don't want to be annoyed after buying. When doing water changes make sure the temperature is exactly the same as your aquariums water....

As of right now I have 25 fish in there and they range from a lemon Jake to a red tailed shark. I am compiling a better list with all there actual names and will post soon.

Don't cheap out when purchasing equipment. Save up your money for the better stuff it will make your life easy

This is my 90 gallon fish tank that is prodominently african cichlids. Some of the fish include peacocks, tropheous, kibenesis, clown loach, red tail shark, catfish, lemon jack and many other africans. I run a fluval fx5 filter that i would highly reccomend. Buy a RO system if you are going to get seriouse. I spent too much time and money (and fish) trying to remedy tap water - the RO system has made it so easy!
