About Yourself: I am a owner of a valet company in Orlando. I have always wanted a fish tank. It's a pretty cool hobby but definitely can be very expensive. When I was younger I use to build homes, so I built my own fish tank stand that I am very proud of. It is definitely 100 times beefier than anything you can buy in stores for around $125.
Fish Kept: Cichlids: 2 bumble bee, 2 red zebra, 2 brown zebra, 2 dempsies, 2 blue ice, 1 red fin, 5 blue/gray (not sure name) 2 catfish, 1 algae eater
Corals/Plants: Artificial plants (see local crafts stores) and rock.
Tank Size: 90 gallons
Advice: This is my first fish tank. I can honestly say that my local fish stores have been a great source of knowledge to me. My local stores have been very helpful Fishy Business (Longwood, FL), Fantastic Aquariums (Orlando, FL) and Tropical Fish Store (Daytona, FL).

Quote: You get what you pay for!
About Yourself: Ive always enjoyed fish and underwater life. It may require some dedication and time, but it is well worth it. Aquariums are very calming, relaxing, and they bring any room to life.
Fish Kept: 3 Tangs; 1 Gourami; 1 Bala Shark; 1 Dojo Loach; 1 Catfish; 1 Rubberlip Sucker
Corals/Plants: Artificial plants (they arent near as messy, live plants shed and tend to clog filters and filter media, a fair warning)
Tank Size: 20 gallons
Advice: Research before you buy. Fish aren't mix and match. Start with a big aquarium, not a small one. Shop at different stores to build the best aquarium, one store probably won't have everything. Mine has parts from 3 different stores. The only filter that is too big is the one that won't fit on your tank. Feed varities of food to fish.
