About Yourself: I am a 34 year old singer/songwriter from Central Scotland with a wife and 12 year old son who also adores anything to do with fish and fishing.I enjoy my dogs,a 9 year old black Labrador and a 2 year old Springer spaniel.
Fish Kept: Yet to research and find out more about the Malawis i purchased today.
Corals/Plants: Artificial
Tank Size: 50 gallons
Advice: Change water as often as possible and do not overfeed.Be very careful when moving dense, sharp slate or rock as it is so so easy to bump or scratch your beloved glass. When moving slate/rock in and out go very very slow to prevent this.Oh yeah and dont worry about anything and chill!!

Rated #1694: 45 Gallons Freshwater Fish Tank

Rated #1694: 45 Gallons Freshwater Fish Tank - The Blue Jahanni is a camera hog everytime we took a pic he was in it. The rocks on the bottom where the transcriptus is, is where all the babies hide (really cute at feeding time). And the Sonadontus hides behind all the rocks at the back only popping his head out at night or when it is feeding. (PLEASE FORGIVE THE NAME BEING SPELT INCORRECTLY)

About Yourself: Scott and I are avid fish enthusiasts. We have 7 tanks all up. What should be our pride and joy however is still in the process of being repaired. A custom 6x2x2.5 foot tank the support bracing was not strong enough and was bowing out when completely full so at the moment it is half full and not looking good at present. It will be in time where we will keep our cichlids. What started out as a second hand tank given to us 3 years ago has now taken over our life, our home and our wallet. As anyone knows who is addicted.
Fish Kept: 1 Blue Jahani, 2 Electric Yellows, 2 Lupias, 1 breeding pair of Transcriptus with approx 20 babies, 2 (soon to be more) Trophus Bemba, 1 Syondotus Eruptus, 2 Princess Daffodils, 2 Albino Algae Eaters, 1 male Bristle Nose, 1 Red Emperor, 1 unknown nickname is Blue Opaline. Just about all the fish are either babies or Juvies and cant wait till they get bigger and their colors start to show more.
Corals/Plants: mass of Java Moss and 2 Anubias attached to driftwood.
Tank Size: 45 gallons
Advice: Change the water regularly, dont overfeed and enjoy

About Yourself: Having fun is an important part of stress management.
Fish Kept: African cichlids from lakes Malawi, Tanganyika, and Victoria. Mostly lake Malawi.
Corals/Plants: Artificial Plants, Texas holy rocks
Tank Size: 65 gallons
Advice: Feed your fish on time. Do the water changes when you are supposed. Clean the filter. The routine maintenance of aquariums is a must, and delays can cause your fish to suffer, or under extreme circumstances even to die. Avoid the costs of medications, additives, and replacing dead fish or plants, by keeping their habitat at optimal conditions. If you find the routine maintenance of the tank too difficult or time consuming, then you should perhaps reconsider whether having fish is worth it to you.

About Yourself: I am actually just 12 years old and i enjoy fish keeping as a hobby.
Fish Kept: 2 Oscar fish(a tiger and a common), 1 Piranha and 1 Opalescent Gourami.
Corals/Plants: All corals and sea shells are dead but they look really good all together in a fresh water aquirium and the plant is fake.
Tank Size: 45 gallons
Advice: Just keep the tank clean and make sure all the equipments are working and buy hardy fish not gold fish! You need a lot more experience to keep goldfish. There are many hardy fish that look great too like oscars and other cichlids.

About Yourself: I'm a service rep for a large MROP distributor (basically a industrial supplier) here in Ohio. I'm 24 and enjoy my fish as one of my hobbies. I started with small tanks when I was just a child with my father helping. He was very big into fancy tailed guppies at the time. The hobby died out for me until recently I bought my first house and once again have a place to keep a tank. I enjoy smaller aquariums (under 70 gallons) that are well set up to larger in your face just because I can tanks. I really like my tank because I believe it is part of the room, and a very nice focal point when hanging out with friends.
Fish Kept:
Corals/Plants: none
Tank Size: 48 gallons
Advice: Take it slow, no one got there overnight. Next time you get laughed at for an oops, remember chances are we've allready done it, and got the same results.
