About Yourself:
Just had the itch one day and bought a few Bettas and kept going from there. I have an interest in saltwater tanks, however my pocket book does not currently share the same interest. I just aquired a 120 gallon tank and am in the process of setting it up for saltwater

Mono Sebae, Russell's Lion, Stonefish, Powder Brown Tang, Spiney Box Puffer, Columbian Shark (catfish).

Advice:
I have this tank and a few other smaller tanks. I recommend beggining with an Eclipse system and reading Freshwater or Saltwater Tanks for Dummies. The Eclipse system comes with everything you need. Make sure you have time for the hobby.

Have had freshwater fish on and off for over 40 years. Currently have 4 tanks, soon to become 5. Favorites are angels, discus, livebearers and unusual non-aggressive varieties.

I am a stay at home mom and my husband is in school, so he is busy studying at night, so I wanted a hobby and I love animals. when I started researching I was intrigued by how difficult it really is. I always thought you just throw fish into a tank...but that is NOT the case! I did not anticipate how much it does cost to start from scratch!!! $$$$

2 female mickey mouse platy, 3 cherry barb(1 male, 2 female), 5 x-ray tetra, 1 male kribensis, 1 sunset thicklip gourami, 5 marble hatchet fish

mix of artificial plants and live plants...java fern and anubias. floating plants are hornwort and wisteria.

Advice:
take it slow adding fish. and read, read, read. I googled lots of different forums, every one has different opinions. I curbed my appetite for wanting new fish by decorating the tank instead for now.

Change water every 6 days minimum. Go big, once you know what you are doing. Go Rena Everything, trust me. xp3, rena air pump 200 or 300, rena intake heater, all legit. Fish tank will look and smell good along with being healthy
