Use the rich resources of the internet, try to find previously answered questions but never be afraid to ask what you can't find. Also, find a good fish shop and pick their brains. I say this because you WILL need someone to call at some stage (rather than just the internet)

Advice:
I`m not one to offer advice other than have fun and don`t be afraid to experiment. Some will say you can`t do this or that and these fish can`t be kept together but you can try and perhaps figure out a way they can live peacefully. I`ve done it and I`ve failed but I`ve done it and succeeded too.
