my dad got me into the hobby.i always wanted a tank when i was younger and one day my dad treat me to one .he bought me some books which really are like a teacher.

Started about 22 years ago with a 10 gallon tank and over the years I have moved up to a 55 gallon. Have always done freshwater but hope to someday do saltwater.
Fish Kept:
Fish include---5 neon tetras, 4 rose barbs, khuli loach, 5 gold barbs, platys, 4 comets.
Corals/Plants:
We recently changed over from gravel to sand and love the ease of cleaning. Plants are plastic. Logs are store bought and we have a few rocks scattered.

55 gallons
Advice:
Read as much as you can. Most is done by trial and error. Do what you feel comfortable with. You can spend as little as you want or as much as you want. This is the perfect hobby for every lifestyle.
